Comments: As a western it's not bad; got the right feel, atmosphere, and characters. The creatures of the night horror angle wasn't too bad either except the creatures themselves weren't that good ... in a bad way, that is. Dune-style worm heads with cicada like bodies. This won't satisfy gore-hounds, and the horror aspect will put off western lovers. It's a good looking film, though.

Summary: A band of courageous men sets out to find and recover a family of settlers that has mysteriously vanished from their home. Expecting the offenders to be a band of fierce natives, the group prepares for a routine battle. But they soon discover that the real enemy stalks them from below.
