Comments: A whole bunch of bad acting (even my girlfriend Miyazaki Aoi didn't do very well) in this wanted-to-be-shocking tale of human organ trafficking in Thailand.

Summary: Children of the Dark (闇の子供たち) is a Japanese movie directed by Junji Sakamoto about child prostitution and organ sales in Thailand. It is based on a novel by Yan Sogil.
In certain areas of Thailand, where child prostitution and sale of human organs are a daily reality, many children are murdered to provide organs for the people desperate enough to pay to save their own children. When a Japanese journalist teams up with a Japanese NGO member to expose this practice and try to put an end to this systematic abuse of children they're struck with the sobering reality that the problem may just be too widespread for two people to stop.
