Comments: Three 50min episodes = 150 minutes. A good 30 minutes could be cut: the five minute recaps/introductions and all of “filmmaker Katie”.

As far as I can tell her only role (beyong some eye-candy?) is to guide the viewer to when it’s time to feel sad about what’s happening onscreen. Ninety percent of her dialog is of the ilk: “oh, oh my gosh” and “poor little cubs, they are in danger”

In Ep 1 Rosa wears the collar and her cubs, Prince & Ziggy, were not fathered by the Punks, so she’s on her own, away from the un-named MK Pride. Pip (Punk cub) gets lost for a while

In Ep 2 Ava has just given birth to 3 cubs and is away from her Hollywood Pride … but one of the roaming punks comes across a “member of the Hollywood Pride fitted with a collar”.

The Holllywood males, who fathered Ava’s cubs, return but don’t stay. They also have another pride (probably Nsefu across the river), and the Hollywwod females are mating with the Punks now

The Hollywoods kill a buffalo and there’s like 10 of them, some male teens. The Punks bring the whole MK Pride to the kill and force The Hollywoods to retreat

In Ep 3 Ziggy and Prince are temporarily accepted into the MK Pride. At the end Rosa and one sister go outcast once more to raise Ziggy

S01E01 Young and Vulnerable
Young cub Pip's adventurous nature soon gets him into trouble as he wanders away from the pride. A lost, lonely young lion is easy prey for prowling leopards and hyenas. Meanwhile Pip's cousins Ziggy and Prince have troubles of their own. They've survived an attack from a rival male lion, but now their mum Rosa is trying to re-join her pride. Ziggy and Prince's new step-dads are far from happy.

S01E02 Prides in Conflict
The prides have overlapping territories; which means the action and events in one lion family unavoidably ends up affecting the other. The discovery that ‘Ava', one of the dwindling Hollywood Pride, has a litter of new-born cubs hidden away is great news. However, the trio of ‘Punk' Males that lead the neighbouring pride are expanding Hollywood territory, putting the cubs in immense danger.

S01E03 Boiling Point
It's now heading towards the rains, and for young cubs Prince and Ziggy it seems that they may finally have a chance of surviving this perilous and eventful season; against all odds they've been accepted into the pride by their step-fathers. But a jealous aunt takes exception to their presence in the most brutal way, and the brothers face tragedy
