Comments: Some good technique and directorial choices. It took too long to get where it was going, tho

I was going to say the film would have been ... different ... if it used actual old people instead of not-old people in makeup. Then after it was over I learned Mia Goth played both Maxine and the old lady. I suspected it at one point from some of the eye shots. Nice touch!

The nail in the barn scene hurt and made me queasy

So, good intentions, E for effort, but it seemed a little too slow burn for its own good

Summary: In 1979, a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast find themselves fighting for their lives.
