Comments: I enjoy this kind of deadpan humor that wrinkles your face for a moment while you try and decide how or why something is or isn't funny

I also enjoy this kind of mainstream entertainment that has ignorable statement written all over it -- People who find pleasure in asking "how well did it skewer"? can have fun, and people who just want to have fun can find pleasure

I also enjoy characters whose first blush is mildly unlikable or slightly over the top but if they stick with it they self-authenticate. All the characters in this film are so consistently who they are they become real, which eliminates the need to ask what they represent. They just are
