Comments: Nic Cage missed the opportunity to pronounce Dracula where the 'cu' is like 'koo' in koolaid, and not Dra-cue-luh where the 'cu' is like a cue ball. Gary Oldman kind of did it like that but he also almost left that part silent

Other than that this hit me on all cylinders except for the stupid gun fights and fisticuffs. There are always parts to that kind of Grunting Man™ nonsense that are cool: like when people are ripped in half or go flying for many yards and break a wall when they hit it

I've seen Awkwafina in some Marvel movie before this and that's all I know of her besides the Vag song. She comes without baggage to me and is wonderfully suited for her part, plays it well. Nicely WTF-ish

Everyone in the film plays their part well and then Nic Cage comes along and plays his part better than all of them combined. This might be Nic's most perfectly given role ever. Wait. Okay, there are lots of them. Mandy comes to mind immediately but who's counting? Dracula plays like Nic has been Dracula his whole life

Finally, almost every one of the humor bits worked for me. A few laugh out louds; several quick rewinds to see some reaction or delivery again for encore enjoyment; and etc.

Awkwafina has haters. Whatever. Certainly a lot of people won't find the film funny. But those two things worked very well for me. You put Nic Cage on top of that and you get five stars. Thanks everybody!

Summary: Renfield, Dracula's henchman and inmate at the lunatic asylum for decades, longs for a life away from the Count, his various demands, and all of the bloodshed that comes with them.
