Comments: This film is both intimate and gigantic

I liked a lot of it and loved the premise, and loved Bol. Some of the shots of Bol sitting on a chair in his living room that turn into, or mix in with ... I'm not sure how to describe this ... mix with the misadventure at sea as the background are otherworldly beautiful

The understated maze-like trap for Rial is well done, and her transformation from a not very sympathetic character (for me) to the heart of the film is courageously executed

Good zombies too, but I could never understand the layout of the house, or what was up where in those holes in the walls, and it bothered me LOL

Summary: A refugee couple makes a harrowing escape from war-torn South Sudan, but then they struggle to adjust to their new life in an English town that has an evil lurking beneath the surface.
