There wasn't much particularly scary, but there were a handful of squirm in your seat moments. I like the trend in recent horror movies to keep the gore less gratuitous and more necessary to the plot. Quality over quantity. J Tucker was a little miscast, I think, but the two girls were pretty good. A couple other bearded guys took up some space. They all suffer while we look on. It seemed a little odd that the group of kids would witness the vines kill, and drag one of them away, then the rest just go to sleep in one of the tents and get up the next morning ready for some more worries. Aside from that .... Summary: Based on the novel by A Simple Plan author Scott Smith, director Carter B.
