Comments: It can be difficult to kill a few people, especially if you're not well equipped and haven't thought a lot about the details of how you want to do it. You want it to be good, because emotionally empty killings don't cut it any more, so you fuck around a little, expecting your victims to reveal to you how they will die. One of your victims is so cognitively disabled he doesn't even recognize you as a killer. Another thinks you're being rude.

I wouldn't call this a comedy of errors but it does get value from being a home invasion terribly executed. In that sense it's more realistic.

I'm not a fan of 'narrated' films because it usually results in more telling than showing. This one is narrated by the killer and I lost interest in reading the subtitles, lost interest in the 'telling' because the showing is delicious. Nicely weird angles and framing. The killer is a genuinely creepy dude, and the use of one of those body harness cam things on him was a good choice. I enjoyed (in a recoiled way) watching this guy more than learning what was on his mind.

Summary: A man is released from prison after serving ten years for murdering an elderly woman. He quickly begins to feel the compulsion to kill again. After failing to murder a cab driver, he flees and discovers a secluded rural home, where a young woman lives with her sick mother and disabled brother. He then begins to take out his sadistic pleasures on them, attempting to hold them hostage, while thinking of his troubled childhood with his abusive mother and grandmother...
