Comments: Can we talk outside?

Gut punch. Maybe I shouldn't follow Haruka Imou. Halfway through this movie Miyake disappears her

I don't think I'm going to get another And Your Bird Can Sing from Miyake. He seems to have "matured" into a story teller

This is slightly in the vein of Koreeda's Our Little Sister and Ogigami's Megane in wanting to explore nice. That's a heavy lift. But it's more than that and, unfortunately, it's the more that left me distant

Mone Kamishiraishi is both sublime and rote. I could feel the difference between when she's being authentically chill and when she is acting story parts. That's Miyake's fault

And mine. I don't need a film to portray some life lessons or truisms or big biblical facts. I just want a few people people hanging out all fucked up and not caring

Summary: Misa, battling PMS and stigma, starts anew at Kurita Optics. Amidst work and sweets, she meets Takatoshi. Despite his quiet demeanor and struggle with panic attacks, a deep bond forms.
