Comments: The film takes a big dip after the fabulous opening 37 minute scene--basically everything that wasn't part of the 'movie'--but I thought it recovered very well. It was funny, and illuminating to me, how the crew were able to make things happen just out of sight of the camera's view. I imagine stuff like that actually happens when making movies.

I reached a high level of sports-like enthusiasm rooting for these people. How often does that happen when watching a movie?

There was a time or two when I thought "Wait a minute. Who, or what camera shot that", but very quickly I didn't give a shit because things just kept going and going.

Summary: Things go badly for a hack director and film crew shooting a low budget zombie movie in an abandoned WWII Japanese facility, when they are attacked by real zombies.
