Comments: Hijack 1971 is one of those films I would describe as being written and made by middle-management types. I thought it was mediocre at best and could have survived it but the last act was so far over the top I sped through it and quit

I used to love Ha Jung-woo but thought he was terrible. No one was believable to me. Maybe the cute stewardess, not the kid holding the bomb. Puhleaze!

It's one of those things tho, that even if it were true, which I don't think it is, that the guy who wouldn't fire at the beginning would end up piloting the Hijacked plane and then his buddy from the beginning would show up at said hijacked plane to do the "spot the pilot" thing. Utter middle manager bullshit


Summary: The movie depics the story of people fighting for their lives in an extreme situation when a passenger plane is hijacked in the airspace of Korea in 1971.
