Comments: Lets be clear about Snowpiercer. It follows the template for heavy-handed, thudding, sophomoric Hollywood thrill rides but as a Bong Joon-ho film it's a gigantic failure (unless that's what he set out to do). It made a splash when it came out because there is no denying its attempt at epicness--some of those exterior train shots are cool--but nobody cares about it now. It's got no legs. If someone came interested in, and empty to, the work of Bong Joon-ho and started with this one ... think about that.

Summary: In a future where a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet, a class system evolves aboard the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine.
