Comments: There was a point in the first half hour or so where I wished Kim would do this without the Korean anger and people actually hitting other people, but that's Korea, and it was pretty clear the film was going to find other avenues of pain more to my liking:

Eunhee leaving the hospital to go home ... by herself ... after her surgery. That hurt like a mf

A remarkable performance by the fifteen year old Park Ji-hu, and such a warm looking film

I considered adding this to my A Dance Number comes out of nowhere list for Eunhee's, ahem, "dance" near the end but that didn't come out of nowhere. The whole film pointed right at it


Summary: Seoul, 1994 -- in the year the Seongsu Bridge collapsed, 14-year-old Eunhee wanders the city searching for love.
